Slash Your Property Taxes – Legally & Fast

Certified appraisers contest your assessed value with comps, errors & exemptions.

  • Average savings: $1,200–$4,800/year
  • No win, no fee – 30–40% of first-year refund
  • Deadline: File by March 1, 2026 (most FL counties)

DM for free valuation review – pay nothing unless we cut your bill.

You should contest your property tax bill if you have a legitimate reason to believe the assessment is inaccurate or unfair, as it could save you hundreds or thousands of dollars annually. Studies suggest that 30% to 60% of properties are over-assessed, and 40% to 60% of appeals result in a reduction in value.

Reasons to Contest Your Bill

You likely have grounds for an appeal if any of the following apply:

  • Inaccurate Property Details: The assessor's records contain factual errors regarding your property, such as incorrect square footage, lot size, or number of bedrooms/bathrooms.
  • Overvaluation: The assessed value is higher than your property's actual market value. A general guideline is to consider appealing if the assessment is 10% or more above market value.
  • Unequal Assessment: Similar properties in your neighborhood (comparable sales or "comps") are assessed at a lower value than yours.
  • Failure to Consider Damage or Disrepair: The assessment does not account for significant damage, structural problems, or a generally poor condition of your property.
  • Incorrect Exemptions: You are eligible for tax relief (e.g., senior citizen, veteran, or homestead exemptions) that have not been applied to your bill
